Dear Community Residents and Businesses:
In 1976, the Coral Trees on San Vicente's median were declared "Cultural Heritage Monument #148 because this area ranks with the most beautiful in our City".
Let's continue our responsibility as a community to ensure the vitality of the Coral Trees on our Boulevard for our children and for theirs as well.
Coral Trees are pruned yearly. Often new trees must be planted to continue the tree canopy in various states of growth.
Annual contributions will provide:
-Coral Tree pruning in the Spring
-Replacement trees where required
-Continued growth of the Coral Tree Endowment Fund earmarked to fund
Coral Tree care in perpetuity:
Each year there will be a drive until the endowment reaches a level that will provide service in perpetuity. The initial goal is $500,000. This year, Douglas Emmett has offered a $10,000 matching fund.
